Great seaside location, good value!
We enjoyed our stay in this little apartment complex by the sea. Ideal if you have your own transport, easy free parking and nice restaurant at the Hotel Sumorum nearby. All apartments have a sea view and it’s along the cycle / walking path and behind the hut used by Haenyeo women divers, where the brave can try diving... Located near the World Cup Stadium / emart for groceries, between Seogwipo and Jungmun Tourist resort. Highly recommended home from home!

We had a great time here. The room was very large and clean with a fantastic view - all of the rooms look out over the ocean. This is a "pension"-style accommodation with private kitchen and bathroom, all very well maintained. The local neighborhood was peaceful and not too crowded with other tourists. This may have been a result of the time of year that we decided to visit (October 2017), but aside from a few other pensions and guest houses, this seemed to be just far enough off the beaten path to find the relaxing couples retreat that we were looking for. The only drawback was that our back patio opened up to a fairly small area that seemed to attract other smokers. (there was a bench and ashtray about 10 feet from our sliding door) As a result, the first morning as we were lying in bed listening to the sounds of the ocean, we would be rudely awakened by cigarette smoke and the sound of middle-aged Korean men clearing their lungs. It was easy enough to ask them to smoke elsewhere, but it would be nice if there was a smoking area that did not back up so close to other guest rooms. For a quiet/relaxing getaway, (even with the smoking situation) I feel the accommodations here were a much better deal than had we paid twice as much for an expensive hotel in the city.

Perfect holiday
We had a great stay in mid september (3 ladies), it was wonderful view of the sea, a pity due to rain and wind, but it cleared up on 3rd day with beautiful sunshine! Many thanks to our host Jennifer who had to helped us call and check on weather at Mt Hallasan daily, she also gave us many suggestions on where to eat. Note: we had the best bbq black pork just walking distance from Solarseado! Overall it was perfect for our trip, a cosy stay minus the hotel luxury but very worth it if you appreciate homestay. Driving is a must to get here. We missed the place, wished we had more time to enjoy the trails and hope to be here again soon :)

Very comfortable stay and nice host
The unit looks smaller than I thought but it has everything you need. Two portable aircons (each on one level), heated flooring which was very much needed during our stay on a rainy day, good scenery, and the coast is just a few steps away. Given its location, I was expecting lack of places for food or drinks but there were quite a few within walking distances. There's in fact a juice cafe just besides our unit. The host was really very helpful as well. I had troubled her for a good near thirty mins to help me settle my SIM card issue. Good stay to be very honest even if I did not receive any help from the host.

Amazing pension with a great host
Solarseado pension was one of our most memorable stay in Jeju. We reach the pension quite late at night and the host was having dinner halfway. We were very apologetic to seeing her having to stop her dinner halfway to accommodate our arrival. When we asked her for dinner recommendations, she could have just shown us the direction but instead she chose to walk with us to our dinner at a black pork restaurant near to the hotel. We told her we had to leave early in the next morning as we have a packed itinerary, but she insisted that we should leave half an hour later than our planned time so that we can enjoy the morning view behind the pension - and we were not disappointed, it was indeed a beautiful sight! In fact we took more than half an hour to appreciate the beautiful view and explored out to the sea. She was also very sweet to come in earlier to cook breakfast for us of some toasts, cream soup and fruits and it was one of our most fulfilling breakfast ever. We had some problem finding our pension for the following night and she helped us in contacting the host and keying the address in korean in our gps. We could never thank her enough for her kindness and the pack of Jeju mandarin oranges she gave us when we were about to leave the pension. We would definitely be back to Solarseado to enjoy the view and say hello to the host if we were to come to Jeju again and would definitely recommend this beautiful place to our friends and family.
