Lovely old pub full of character. Our room was on the top floor, so quite a climb up the stairs, but it was spacious, with a separate bedroom and pull-out sofa in the other room, making it perfect for traveling as a family. The bathroom had a separate shower stall and bath stall, with the toilet in another stall and sink in the main part of the bathroom. The kitchenette area had a microwave and sink as well as the bar fridge. There was also a table and chairs to eat at. We enjoyed our stay, the location was very convenient and we walked in the evening to the main restaurant part of Newcastle, which was an easy walk. We will definitely be back

The bed was super comfy and the shower was so nice after a long night out. I had a bit of problems with the bath but that is only due to the plugs needing to be replaced. The staff were so lovely and helpful and guided me to how to use their after hours door. The stairs leading up to my room were a little bit wonky but that is due to wear and tear. Overall, loved the stay. It was close to the event i was coming from and super convenient.

Hotel is a bit run down and needs a little love. It is a bit odd to check in at the bar with luggage in tow. It gets a bit loud outside when the pub closes, but location is great and central to everything
