The bed was comfortable..the chairs were broken...had to pay a cash deposit why they could not take a copy of a bank card...had to go find a ATM so we could check in on top of a late check in. Also they’re wanting all the adults to have license when checking in, l never had my license on me and but the other 2 did but would not let me check in because l never had a license WHY....

Staff on check in were helpful but the process was long and complicated. Only took cash for the security deposit, which was not communicated anywhere. Doors to all the cabins are starting to rot and in need of replacement. Needs more frequent housecleaning and maintenance, but the cheap price doesn’t allow for it. Didn’t feel safe too much at the property

No extra pillows or blankets in the room. Room could accomodate 7 people, only booked for 5 - 3 adults & 2 children & not all beds were made available.

I like the pleasent people running it and the location. Usually we stay here and it is great but this time i think they need to upgrade the room we stayed in. It needs a little TLC. But i always love staying there.

Needed extra linen fridge needs to be looked at just froze food but otherwise we did enjoy our stay, central location to everything. The staff helped us with finding things on the map to make it easy for us and they were happy to accommodate for the extra blankets and pillows.

Rhis property is so run down no rubbish bin collection for6 days bins rotten also sewerage coming out pipes near cabins where ya walk through to pool

I DID NOT GET THE STUDIO UNIT I BOOKED .. STUDIO HAD A BALCONY.. MY UNIT HAD WATER AT THE DOOR AND WEEDS GROWING THRU THE PAVING ( BRICKS )

LIKE the location near supermkt, cafes etc, medical services (hosp, xray etc), and in a lower traffic area. Peaceful. The q.bed was very comfortable with clean attractive linen; good hot water, tv with captions, good kettle toaster etc. Unit is dated, has some faults, but good for the price, ticked our priorities, being only in Cairns for medical reasons. BUT: byo m/wave bowl; and coffee mugs (sml cups only in ours). Fridge was hard to regulate, froze well but not cool in fridge section.
