Nettie’s should be removed from Hotels.com site
Beware of pictures and description. I expect a refund for the most miserable overnight stay ever! Nettie’s was creepy and down right scary though it would make a great location for a horror movie. Checking in was like being booked in jail. We should have left then but we were exhausted from cancelled flights and hours in Miami airport and our taxi had just driven off. It was close to Nassau airport, and we had to be back there for a 6am flt. The place is beyond being called run-down, it should be condemned. Hot room, worst bath, sink was too corroded to work, toilet and floor filthy , towels as thin as the toilet paper, burned out lights. No water or water glasses. The mattress had coils protruding that were painful to lay on. Sleep was not possible. The night manager managed to find a fan and a couple of water bottles. Other than a taxi that arrived on time at 4:45am, that was the only thing to be thankful for.

It's a place for creative people who don't go strict on expectations . For me, I was pleasantly surprised by the environment of art and creativity. I found that conditions could be better and some TLC maintenance seems required here and there. I stayed for one night layover, and what I didn't like was that the location seems somewhat deceiving not at all as close to the airport as suggested when checking the map during booking.turned out to be 25$ taxi ride one way adding 50$ to my night lay over.

We had a delightful time talking with Nettie. Staying at a chain doesn’t give you the chance to get the real culture of an area. We will stay again when we come to Nassau

Find the next best option
It's a pretty grim place - dark, dirty feeling despite the aura of expressive art-work. Pool water a dingy brown color. Room decor very dated and not at all comfortable. If you are on an extreme budget, then I guess you can stomach this place but for another $50 go for a nicer place. I think I was the only guest in the place and one taxi driver told me the place is supposed to be closed.
