    Oceanview Villas are the way to go

    The Oceanview Villas are great! We had the 2 bedroom villa with an Oceanview. There are a lot of stairs to get to the villas. It was a 3 story villa. The staircase is small, narrow and winding. There is no ac or heating in the villas. We went during winter and had to request lots of extra blankets. The perfect time to go would be in the spring or fall.

    Puerto nuevo

    Checked in late in the evening and hotel is a huge property and not all rooms are attached, it took us about 15 minutes to find our room. Where they booked the room it was not accessible thru the hotel entrance but we had to get into our car and drive out to the left of the property. Old beds not super comfortable and noisy, overall room was clean and the room was huge. For Rosario/ puerto Nuevo this was a nice hotel average for the location. Check out is terrible you have to go to the front desk and also get your ticket stamped, only two people as usual for checking out so expect delays.

    King with balcony beach view

    Pool was closed due to COVID-19. View and sound of the beach from balcony was amazing. Very spacious with living room area. Room has its rustic charm, but in need if renovation. Connects to one other room so everything can be heard from neighboring room. Comfy bed. Pillows were eh. Spacious bath sink area, but shower and toilet is tight. Plenty of hot water on demand. Did not use the AC. Recommended.

    Worst place to stay in Rosarito, Baja California

    I had the worst experience EVER in my 30 years of traveling and staying in hundreds of hotels. This hotel seems like it is stuck in the old ages. We rentel a villa (301) and the coffee machine did not work. The microwave was still with food inside from a previous stay. The sofa bed was so dirty it even had bed bugs and urine stains and the smell was horrendous. They did not have clean sheets or pillows either and we had to wait until 2:30am to have them brought in bags. The next day they moved us to another villa which was worst. It seems that it had not been serviced from the previous stay. To the extent that excrement was still in the toilet bowl and had not been flushed. I will NEVER stay at this place again and I am demanding a FULL refund of my stay.

    Wonderful Relaxing Stay

    I was a little nervous about this hotel because of the bad reviews but i am glad i still gave this hotel a try. Extending my stay. It was really nice. It was 8 of us and we had a 3 floor villa with a full kitchen and oceanfront. Hearing and looking at the waves all day was so relaxing. Everything was awesome. Bar and singer was also fun at night.

    I was not happy about finding hair on a pillow right away after checking in. Also, found an earring on the floor that wasn’t mine. One of the coffee cups left for us to use had a chip, on the part where you drink from. The walls and doors are EXTREMELY thin that I was able to hear the snoring of the guest next door. The room was okay but I guess they expect you to pay a few hundred dollars more to be provided with an alarm clock to tell time, a heater/ac and an iron w/ironing board.
