    Great find!

Not a bad room in the place! All vineyard facing with comfy beds/pillows. Free parking and plenty of it. Nice pool and lounge chairs equipped with towels ready for each guest. Close to all adjacent wineries and hot air balloon tours. Will definitely go back.

    Beautiful Location, Terrible Staff

The location and facilities were absolutely GORGEOUS. However, the experience was negatively impacted by the quality of the service. People at the front desk were not super attentive; housekeeping came in without knocking, left without a word after seeing us there, and did not come back; when we asked housekeeping to come back in, they said "ok" and we returned to an uncleaned room. If you're not expecting five-star level amenities, you won't be disappointed. The views were amazing, and the room was very nice and comfortable. For the price we paid, we probably won't be coming back as there are a ton of other beautiful resorts in the area.

Outstanding place to stay in the wine country

Always a top class place to stay in the heart of the wine country. Oversized rooms and quality amenities. We have stayed here many times and plan to do so every time we are here.

We came for a day of wine tasting and a visit to Old Town Temecula. We stayed at Rancho Mirage for the week and stayed a night in Carter Estate Resort to check out the area. On our next trip down to So. Cal we will plan on staying at the Resort for a week and planning our trips from there. Highly recommend. Great place.

A quite nice place to stay. The property and landscaping is very pleasant. Some amenity and services are closed due to COVID. The overall experience should be better after the restriction is lifted.

Had an amazing time! Loved waking up looking out over the vines- Hot air balloons in the distance in the morning and horse drawn carriages at sunset. The rooms were really nice, with high ceilings and a very spacious feel. We also were able to bring our dog, which was a huge plus! I would just suggest reaching out in advance since there are only certain rooms available for pets :)

    Definitely Pros and Cons

Definite Pros and Cons to this resort. Pros: location is great. The rooms are very nice. Big, soaking tub is fabulous. Views are lovely. Breakfast delivery is a nice touch. Lots of potential to be top notch. Cons: Room was not super clean. Still hairs in the tub. Something gross on the wall in two places. The service does not feel like a high end resort. (Aside from the breakfast delivery). The bedding is not impressive at all. Cotton pillows. Hard bed. Two sheets and a thin fleece blanket. They didn’t even put a comforter on the bed. Had to get one sent to the room. Tried to call to the front desk at least 6 times. No one answered. Walked there. Only one person at the desk and said sorry she was checking someone in. Put me on hold then? To just not answer the front desk phone seems strange. They do not service the rooms due to covid so if you need extra towels or anything you’ll have to request those. We were there for a special occasion and my friend tried to get us something nice delivered. Said it took many calls and two days to make it happen. Found out after meeting the couple in the room next to us they delivered the mimosas there at first. Seems very short staffed and disorganized. Sad because we wanted this to be our go to place but will definitely try other places in the area and hopefully the iron out the kinks.

Furniture and bedding is starting to become outdated and worn, bed sagged and creaked. We have stayed years past and was amazing. This time around left feeling like there needs to be a revamp in the rooms. Overall the staff was amazing and courteous!
