Lovely hotel, great location
The hotel is in a great location. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. They gave good tips and information. The only down side is there was no mini fridge and only one electric socket.

Ok room
We got into Paris late and was glad the hotel was just a 6 minute walk from Gare du Nord. It is an older hotel and it showed. It was not very spacious but it was clean. The guy working the desk at night was very nice and friendly. Glad they allowed check-in that late. It was good for a good crash and sleep after a long day of traveling. The noise from the street was loud as we had to have our window open because it was hot. But it quieted after 1 a.m. Overall, for what it was, we were satisfied.

Ugly stains room and rude staff- don’t stay there
This place is a joke. I booked for my parents for a few nights during our visit in Paris. The guy who checked them in was very rude. I arrived with my parents because they don’t speak French or English. I told him I was just helping them to settle in. He let me in. 30 minutes later he called the room and told me to leave. I was not going to stay I was helping my parents to unpack etc. I left to my other hotel. Turns out they don’t allow visitors at all. So if you have friends staying there ( please don’t ) you can’t visit them. It doesn’t matter if it is during a day or evening. If you don’t stay can’t visit and a very rude man at the reception will tell you that! Rooms are ugly, carpets have stains, the sink do don’t work at all, and of ants in the room. I had read reviews about substandard hotels in the Gare du Nord area but this hotel and the staff are exceptional. I had originally only booked 2 nights, with the intention of moving further into the city, but I was so impressed with the friendliness and kindness of the staff that I booked another 3 nights. It is very convenient to get to the Parisian attractions. We even walked to the Sacre Coeur. Notre Dame is a short Metro ride. The staff always welcomed us back and were interested in where we had been that day. They have given us very happy memories to take home.

The lobby and the room had a bad odour of stale cigarette smoke. The room was small and too hot, no aircon. The noise from the street was overwhelming, between the heat and the noise it was almost impossible to sleep. At least the sheets and towels were clean
