Some rooms are very noisy
The hotels is nice and clean, conveniently located near the city center however has a major flaw: it is right next to a very loud night club. All the even rooms are facing the club and will provide a sleepless night. Luckily the staff was very kind and moved my room after the first night.

Never again!
This is my 3rd stay at the hotel, it certainly wasn’t 3rd time a charm. The rooms and general condition are being badly neglected and instead of feeling urban cool or rustic warehouse (whatever they think they are aiming for) it’s just dirty and run down. The overwhelming smell in the corridor to the bedroom was fowl, perhaps blocked sewage pipes or something but certainly not a smell I expected on the 4th floor. Thankfully it didn’t smell as bad in the room however the attention to detail in the cleaning was just shocking. Loud music until the early hours, both in the hotel and next door in the nightclub, this wasn’t a surprise as I’ve stayed here before but with all the other issues they need to take a serious look at their target customer or get a new manager that actually cares.

Quirky
Very quirky hotel, comfortable stay and great friendly customer service. The only downside was the bathroom in our room. It was very grubby to the point we didn’t want to use it.

Poor 2.0
such potential, but too noisy to sleep
Great hotel, good staff, such potential but unfortunately it has a 4 floor nightclub next door and it sounds like the speakers are in the rooms.

DO NOT STAY HERE Stay in a hotel weekly for business. In all the good and bad I’ve stayed in I’ve never felt the need to warn anyone. Some good, some bad but never horrific as the stay at the Dean. Music thumping all night. Asked reception by phone to move and got some sarcastic asshole assuming I’d been warned. ‘It’s all over the website and you were pre-warned at check in...it’s a nightclub district don’t you know’...No, I wasn’t on either account. Then went to reception and again asked to move rooms, told ‘not possible’. Then after a couple of minutes I’m told I could move to 1st floor but it would be worse. Pointless, go back to room to find i’m locked out and needed new key to get in. The lo and behold I’m informed I could move to 3rd floor but same side of building, shrug shrug. Where did the extra 2 rooms come from? There where none a minute ago?! AVOID THIS HOTEL
