Great location and breakfast in bed
Great location, bit tricky checking in if you're arriving after 6, but nothing major. Breakfast in bed and next door to a record shop! Handy for bars and restaurants, but on a side street, so not noisy.

Worst Hotel in Dusseldorf
Well I booked my hotel in June, since I was traveling to an international trade show scheduled in October. I paid in full for the hotel. My reservation said that it was non-refundable. My credit card company called to confirm the payment and I paid the credit card bill. I arrived after a very long flight from the USA to this hotel. I arrived at 6:15pm in the afternoon and it clearly says that you must call to check in after this time (there are no people there to help you). I called the number and they let me in the building and I was told to go get my keys that were on a table inside. There is no lobby in this hotel, only a stairwell. I found that there was an envelope there with a key in it but the name was not mine. I called them back and they said to call the owner. I couldn't reach them and finally they called me. The owner told me that he needed to check with orbitz. In the meantime I called orbitz and they confirmed that I had paid and had a valid reservation. The owner called me back and said that he had sold my reservation since he did not get paid, and that I do not have a reservation anymore and there are no rooms. I told him that I was holding my reservation in my hand and that I had paid. He told me that I did not, and then began to argue with me over the phone about this. I highly recommend that you DO NOT stay at this hotel. They are a scam and they will take your money. DO NOT BE FOOLED!

Great little place!
A great little hotel with very friendly staff and immaculately clean. The breakfast was good too! The only drawback was the lack of air conditioning as we stayed at the end of July and we couldn't sleep for the heat - even with the window open.

Very basic aparthotel in the heart of altstadt
This is a self serviced apartment not really a hotel so bear that in mind. Room was tiny and very basic. There is no reception and breakfast is served in the room which is also very basic (juice, ham and cheese with bread). Not really value for money but is in the heart of altstadt so in terms of location this is gold.

great place its next to town centre
its not far to walk to town center about 2 mins but very awkward to get into the premises it states to ring some phone numbers and if you dont speak german like me you have difficulty to get in it took me 45 mins. when we got in the room is very small and you dont see any staff at all to breakfast . the key to your room is left in an envelope with the instructions of your breakfast and room . on the bench down stairs as you come into the building . apart from that its ok the breakfast wot comes to your room in the morning is fantastic it has everything on it for a continental . this room is ok for couples but not two lads as theres only one double bed. so its toe to head sleeping if you do.
