Would not rush out to book this again.
Located in a large apartment block...but sort of in the basement, at least our room was. Room was damp and mouldy. The bed not too comfy and the pillows reeked of mould. The whole room and furniture had a clammy feel. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere. Plus the Cameron Highlands are simply not worth visiting.

Love this place.
Best place after your home. The comfort and the hospitality. Worth the money.

Budget hotel; value for money
Budget guesthouse, its says what it is on the tin. Value for money, basic accommodation with use of communal kettle with free coffee and tea available. Breakfast; toast and jam. Not much to do in the area and not particulary scenic either. A couple of days here is more than enough.

Excellent stay!!
Jay and her team were awesome helping us to make the best out of our stay. Their place is in walking distance from everything, nicely furnished, clear and spacious. Our room had a stunning view. Thanks so much!

Great place
I had a great time at gerard’s Place. The hosts were very informative and gave me great tips about the surrounding hiking trails (not so easy to find on your own). They even dropped me off at the bus station on my last day, no extra charge. The free coffee, tea and toast (and cake on the last day) was a really nice bonus. Overall a very good stay!

Very good 8.0
Great but random people in the living room
The hosts did an amazing job at giving us recommendations and making sure we were okay. They even drove us to the bus station instead of ordering a taxi out of kindlyness. What made us feel uncomfortable at times is this: Except for us, there were 3 other people living in the little shared flat where our room was located. Apart from them, at least eight (!) other people have been hanging out/making noise/doing something in our living room: - the cleaning staff preferred to sit down on the couch or dining table before and after doing their work, having conversations in a volume that woke us up in the morning or just chatting on their phone - one of the other tenants was apparently an exchange student who sometimes had some friends of her hanging out in the living room - the hosts were checking on us 2-3 times a day. It was meant as a nice gesture and we were too shy to complain but sometimes, we would have preferred more privacy. We were advised not to lock the apartment door (in fact, our key didn't work), so the flat was in fact open to the public. Nevertheless, we could lock the door to our room which was fine.
