Stayed here in Matamoras for a medical procedure. Hotel was extremely up to date, clean and very quite. Complimentary breakfast was really good!! We will definitely stay again when in the area

Really good location, a couple of blocks there is a lot little stores you can shop around. At first it does not look to good but as you approach to the hotel you can see more hotels around it. Hotel really clean, staff super helpful. ( I needed a spoon for my kid medicine at the middle of the night, the front staff help me with one. Parents with children will understand). Food is ok but if you don't like whats on the bar. You can always ask for the menu for additional breakfast at your own cost. The hotel had a construction for some rooms but the staff mention is after 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. not on Sundays. *F.Y.I. If you have reserved your room from one of the online websites with any kid even though they asked you how many children. They are not included for the breakfast, even thought the page let you know the room is reserved for two adult people and can fit 4. But you can always buy any additional breakfast from the menu. The parking lot is on the side there is a guard to open and close in the night. There is a pool which is clean and it was available to use. Free WiFi for those who needed internet. Love the store a couple blocks from the hotel specially if you have kids. They open around 9 a.m. lots of antojitos mexicanos. (mexican snacks) There is catholic church a couple of blocks from the hotel, and a plaza. Hope this info help you.

It’s too expensive for what you get. You could get better quality in other hotels outside the city’s downtown. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It’s a very old hotel, and the quality of the rooms is poor.

Location, staff, rooms. All good. But those plastic bed covers are the worst things invented. I couldn’t sleep all night. The staff is amazing. The food is good. Just those pillow covers that feel like plastic. Those are the worst.
