Safety issue
14th Aug 2023 - At around 10.25pm I checked out from the hotel instead of 17th Aug 2023. Today (14th Aug) myself & my friend were shocked when we reached our hotel room at around 10pm to see our room door was not locked properly. What we saw was a piece of cloth hanging on top of the door preventing the door from closing. We were definitely worried and quickly checked with the front desk Mr. Lehnsher. He did came up to check if anyone does enter our room with a special device. Yes he did find out that the cleaner did enter to clean. I told him earlier that someone did clean the room and the door was not locked properly. They didn't do cleaning everyday but they clean alternate days or every 3rd day as I know from the reception through the phone when I first checked in enquiring on housekeeping. So far for these 6 days of my stay since the 9th Aug, they have done 2 times cleaning and I have no complain. They did a good job. What I think is that they may have forgotten to remove the cloth on top of the door (can't upload photos) after doing the cleaning. Hope they use a door stopper instead next time and remember to close the door back properly. Security is very important for all guests and we depend 100% on the hotel team. I am definitely worried and decide to check out immediately. No one likes their hotel room door left open for don't know how long. Everyday we go out in the morning and come back at night as we are tourists.
