Couldn't get any sleep , there where 2 weddings at the hotel grounds , live music til 2 am , I guess they should reserve some part of the hotel to people not going to the wedding or event , please verify if there is an event before making a reservation here or else you won't get any rest , hotel Has good views , some things are antiques , some modern , but some really need to be changed they are old and rusty or some mildew

Since we got to the reception there was a very kind young man who took care of us. The beds were so comnfortables. We feel safe to leave our car in their parking lot. And we wanted to come back again.

Fine for a night or two
Lovely historical hotel. We enjoyed the ambiance, the history, and the surrounding grounds ; however the room was small, our king size bed was hard - like sleeping on a wood board, and modern updates are needed. It's fine for a night or two.

Needs an update while still maintaining the charm
Uncomfortable bed, and too small of a bed. In 2019 2 people can’t share a double bed anymore. Specially the room has enough space to put bigger beds. Also they leave outside hallway lights on overnight and very poor window curtains that let all the light shine into the room. I almost had to throw something over the window to block the light.

We have been staying here on occasion for decades. The great thing is that it hasn't changed in that time. The troubling thing is that very little maintenance has been done in that time. It is very quiet and a beautiful location.
