I PAID EXTRA MONEY FOR DIAMOND CLUB SERVICE AND ALL THE DIAMOND AMENITIES WAS CLOSED DURING MY STAY. THE ROOM WAS DIRTY UPON ARRIVAL AND THERE WAS BUGS FLYING AROUND THE ROOM THE ENTIRE TRIP. I ALSO PAID FOR BUTLER SERVICE AND DIDNT SEE HIM TILL THE 3TD DAY OF A 4 DAY TRIP. THE DIAMOND BEACH AREA IS AN DISASTER. THERE WAS NO PREMIUM LIQUOR FOR US THERE. NO HENNESY OR GREY GOOSE AT THE BARS. THE HOTEL GAVE US 2 COMPS FOR TWO 50 MIN MASSAGES AND WHEN CHECKING OUT SAID IF DIDNT SIGN A DISCLOSURE PAPER THE HOTEL WILL CHARGE ME FOR THE MASSAGES THEY SAID WAS FREE. IT WAS THE WORST HOTEL U COULD EVER STAY AT. THEY ALSO GIVE 600 IN RESORTS CREDITS THAT U CANT REALLY USE. U CANT USE THE RESORT CREDIT ON ANY EXCURSIONS OR SPAS. U ONLY COULD USE ON STUFF LIKE LIQUOR OR 30 DOLLARS OFF ON AN UPGRADE.
I like the size of the property and the food was great. The room was wonderful and very clean and the covid procedures were great. I didnt like that i paid for a round trip service to and from the airport and didnt get it. My wife and i had to take a cab so we didnt miss our flight
unsympathetic front desk, managers / supervisors, impatient, unable to be direct with clients. creating a serious communication problem. Summing up incompetent and very poorly trained management.
Diamond club Butler services were Amazing the treatment we received were nothing less than Royal treatment
First thing the resort is away from everything so you have tonpay for taxi or excursions. Their facilities are old and not well taken care of, our rooms hot tub never worked and room service is slow or non existing because we called after about a glass panel that broke because of the wind and we checked out and it was still broken everywhere. The hotel has water leaks all over when it rains and even our room. The room smelled like mildew and all of our clothes smelled from a few days there. The beach is not at all nice. Honestly, i would never stay here again nor recommend it to my worst enemies.

We arrived and the room we had previously booked was “no longer available” so we were upgraded to another more expensive room. very frustrating.
First, the room I was sold on Expedia said "Diamond Club" but then seemed to change to "Luxury Family Suite" with no Diamond Club status. I ended up paying $400 more for Diamond Club with butler. I only saw my butler ONE TIME and it was not remotely at the level of service I've received from other properties in Riviera Maya for such service. Sometimes the coffee in the buffet was cold in the morning (the coffee in the coffee shop is GREAT). The best restaurant is the Steak House and the Hibachi Grill. I also told them in the Precheck, in the messaging center here and when I arrived that my guest would be arriving on another date that I gave them and STILL they had issues at the gate to be admitted. We had a really good time for my sisters wedding, but all in all I was not impressed with the inconsistency of service we received.
This property is horrible needs alot of vissible repairs hard to beleive its only 5 years old
