8/10 Very good

Mammoth stay
The condo was nice and more than I expected, but did need a bath tub remodel. Still had the old, low shower head and I am tall and the shower door was broken and toilet was not bolted down, everything else was great though, including the community part!!

2/10 Poor

Stay as far away as possible
You might not get what you pay for. The owners of this hotel, Grand Mammoth Resorts, have several properties in the Mammoth Lakes and region. Although out reservation was for Aspen Creek Condos, a nice hotel, we were placed in one of their lower quality properties, San Sierra. Besides being a lower quality apartment, very poor decoration, not at all like the pretty pictures from this listing, it was located further away from the ski slopes, making the whole ski trip a lot less enjoyable. To top off the experience, one of the sofa beds was broken, two members of our party had to sleep on the floor. Expedia is not without fault as well. When faced with this situation their customer support gave us the 'It's Not My Problem' response. All in all, a terrible experience.

So So
Pulled into Mammoth at 2:00 am. Got the keys from the lock box and headed to Aspen Creek. Upon arrival we noticed the heater in the bedroom was not working. Spent the first night in a bedroom that was 50 degrees. Tech came out to repair the heater at 3:00 pm the next afternoon. My wife waited for him and lost a day on the hill. The rest of the trip went as planned. Location is very good. Short walk to Eagle Lodge. Covered parking is a plus, although very tight for a full size truck. Hot tub was nice but could have used a bit of a skim to get the soap scum and hair off the top. For the price we paid, I think next trip, we will stay a Juniper Springs or the Westin.
