Nice for NYC
Everything was great except for the things the hotel is not responsible for. Great room. Great Staff. Great bathrooms & showers. Very clean for a NY building. There was a strong smell one night of Indian food from the spiritual center next door (I didn't mind but my friend did) It is located on a loud and dirty NY Avenue. It is next door to a 7-11 and across the street from a large low-income housing project. It is a short walk to attractions but the short walk is fairly unpleasant. A man tried to steal my luggage out of my hands when I arrived. The staff member present apologized and 'shewed' the man away. Keep your wits about you for that 2 block radius but rest assured once you are inside the building.
