We stayed at Ardoch Cottage for 2 nights at the beginning of June. It is a good, quiet location for the Loch Lomond area. Our GPS initially sent us off on a side road but the guest house was actually on the main road and easy to find. Very nice country setting. Paul was an excellent host and very knowledgeable about the area. We had a clean, comfortable room with tea, coffee and biscuits and a kettle. The wifi was the best we encountered on our trip. Cows woke us up the first morning! Breakfast was excellent.
Fresh fruit salad and yoghurt followed by a full English or whatever combination you wanted with plenty of tea and coffee. My wife fell in Balloch while we were there and injured her back. We came back to the guest house after the accident and Paul was most concerned. He gave us information about the nearest minor injuries clinic which we then visited. We appreciated his calmness and assistance. The next day as we left Paul came out with an armful of cushions and told my wife to choose whatever would make her more comfortable in the car. He was genuinely looking to help us out and would not take extra money for the pillow. Thankyou so much Paul. We would definitely stay here again.
