The staff was remarkable! From the very first interaction we had with our chauffeur that picked us up from the airport, to the late night receptionist who greeted us so warmly, to the restaurant servers who called us by name each morning at breakfast and let's not forget the rooftop bartender! Every single employee at the Bastion Luxury Hotel was professional, kind, courteous and responsive. I recommend this place over and over! We loved our stay!

great hotel on a great location. I couldn’t fault it. It is not one of the big name hotels but I think this is better value than them. Great design, service, food and swimming pool. Comfortable luxurious room.

Very good hotel in every aspect. Only little downside was that quite a few of the waiters in the restaurant had zero English capabilities. It gave us a few misunderstandings :-) All in all highly recommendable hotel wth a lot of small and very nice services that just makes you feel very welcome. The rooftop bar: Go ask for Jorge! He will make your stay feel extra special!

Absolutely amazing breakfast, lots to choose from. Fresh local food cooked to perfection. Friendly staff. Great location in Cartagena Highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Cartagena. Although we stayed 5 nights, 3 nights would be enough to explore the old town.

This is one of the top hotels we have ever stayed in. It is well designed, attractive, comfortable, well located, and clean. It’s best feature is the entire staff. Everyone was helpful, pleasant, knowledgeable, and courteous without being obsequious. The breakfasts were fantastic and beautiful. The roof top pool and bar is a beautiful addition while not being too noisy. We would return to Cartagena just to stay at this hotel if not for any other reason.
