Dont use Protea hotel in Lusaka.
Very poor customer relations. Very bad wifi and not able to sort it out leaving me with no connectivity for half my stay. Once I got moved to another room I finally had wifi. Check out was a nightmare with very unhelpful staff member also not being able to assist me with my Marriot rewards.

Comfortable hotel but service needs a boost
Check-in was very slow. Attendant gave me the wrong room number, so I had entered a room where someone was already residing in - awkward. The attendant also did not charge for the shuttle service upon payment of the room as requested, and had to then pay next morning, causing a delay. Other than that the quality of the rooms are great.
