Very close to the Airport and exceptional customer service
I try to cancel my reservation due to covid-19 I couldn’t leave the airport had to stay in transit over 24 hrs.. outta courtesy and my situation reservation should have been canceled.
I was there in March and April 2020 during the global pandemic while the airport was closed. I stayed for about a month and found that the staff was very friendly and helpful and tried to make the stay as normal as possible during those stressful times. Very good breakfast. The small gym is nothing special but enough to do some light weights. Room was small but comfortable and shower had lots of hot water. TV had several news and movie channels in English. WiFi was functional but very weak and at one point was completely off for 5 days. Electricity seems to go out a lot in Addis but the hotel has a generator. Free shuttle to/from the airport. Recommended hotel in the Bole area.
Well past its prime, the rooms were roach infested - killed six in first room, went immediately downstairs and got a second room - killed three more before heading to bed. Cheap paint was seriously scuffed and marked. Seedy neighborhood.
We had a nice stay. Clean... quiet... staff pleasant. I wish the bathroom window would have been "special glass".. so folks could not see in. They upgraded us to a suite, which was nice. Food good!
Great stay. Great airport shuttle. Great breakfast. Super friendly staff. Hot showers.
Stayed here twice for overnight stops in Addis. The hotel was on point with ensuring i had a shuttle ride both ways to the airport with a quick email. They even had the free breakfast buffet open 30 minutes early to ensure i had food before i had to fly out. Had dinner there once, (curry chicken) and it was amazing. Clean rooms, very nice staff. I really had nothing to complain about. I would definitely stay again!
Good service n price
We stayed here both times we stayed in Addis. Once when we arrived to Ethiopia, and again before we left Ethiopia. I was pleased with Winta (the receptionist) she was lovely and so helpful. She was kind enough to upgrade our room to a suite. The room was very nice with an extra bedroom inside. They had a full functioning bathroom. The shower had a door that closes unlike other bathrooms in other hotels we stayed in when traveling to other cities in Ethiopia. They had a properly functioning toilet which again, has not always been the case for us during our trip. The beds were the most comfortable during our month vacation. The first room we stayed in was great, the only negative thing was the smell coming from the bathroom which may have been a sewer thing. The doormen/security men and women were sooo kind. The shuttle driver was very nice as well. The staff is great overall! The second time we stayed here before leaving Ethiopia, we booked the suite since we enjoyed it last time. Our flight was scheduled to leave late at night, so the hotel allowed us to pay for a half day which allowed us to stay until 7pm, however, Tigust (the receptionist) was kind enough to grant us an extra hour which we appreciated. The suite we stayed in was great. Comfy beds, extra room, full functioning bathroom and there was no odd smell at all. We had the same shuttle driver and saw the same security people that were equally pleasant as the first time. I’d stay here again when I come back!
