On our check-in day we got a room stink out of cigarettes , asked to replace it , they took 45 minutes to find other room (by saying hotel is fully booked) , got into the new room , open the water to wash my hands and in a second the room was flooded (plumbing error they say it's first time but you can see that the carpet color was such that flooded few time + the cabinet down part was rotten due to water) Only after that they gave us a "better" room with Balcony. Breakfast didn't included Espresso or omlet so every morning I had to pay for both (staying was BB). EXPIRIENCE WAS SO BED WE CHECKED OUT 2 DAYS EARLIER AND THE RECEPTION MANAGER DIDNT BOTHER TO AS US WHY
1st room was stink of cigarettes 2nd room had a plumbing issues. We left 2days before check out time and they didn't bother to ask why - NOT RECOMMEND
Pleasant
I stayed for 7 nights over New Year's and overall, I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is conveniently located next to one of the ski area's lifts, so it was easy to go skiing everyday. It is also located very near to the supermarket, and some fantastic restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially the restaurant staff and the guy guarding the room with the ski lockers. There were some things that were less than ideal. A lot of families with young children were at the hotel, which normally wouldn't be so bad, except that I could hear everything in the hallway from my room - including the running, screaming, and loud talking. The rooms definitely don't seem to be insulated against sound from the hallway. While the breakfast buffet was good, there seemed to be weird items some of the days, including pasta and french fries, which I suspect was catered more to the children. The pool and spa area was nice, except for an awkwardly small hot tub which had a very cramped maximum capacity of 4 people. Also, the check-in time was supposed to be at 2 pm, but I was unable to access my room until 2:45 pm on the day of check-in. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, but it seems to be more suitable for families with children, and not solo travelers.
The room was small and bad view..no tissues in the room and lazy employees
Good stay. Lots of activities to do in the property as a ski resort. Good location. Improvements could be housekeeping and general in-room comforts.
Overall a nice hotel. Service staff a bit slow and not really ready to give any advice about trip in the mountains. Poor menu in the restaurant. Nice facilities and games rooms, however many guests could not behave as expected in a 4 stars hotel. Drunk, noisy and loud till late. It took 30 minutes to check out because only two people at the reception and some clients had to complain about the final bill. For me the final bill was clear and the amount was what I was expecting.
I love the balcony and its morning view and the food is awesome too.
It is a ski resort, completely skiier-unfriendly. Ski lifts work until 16:00, but check out time is 12:00, and there is no room for skiiers to change the clothing after finishing skiing. So that the skiiers have to check out at noon, ski until 16:00, and then strugle where to change the cloth, and the hotel offers no help in this regard.
we were a group of 12, planned to stay for 5 nights there from 2 months before(paid total price) Our experience was complected! we get there 1 p.m, they told us check in time is 2pm & they didn't even ask for pass ports & paper work, at 2 p.m 2 of 5 rooms were not ready, unless they told us all queen rooms have balcony but they gave 1 double bed room instead & no cooperation or sympathy at all. we had to stay 1 hour more at lobby & wait for reception to do all paper work(copying all pass ports & room cards). we had very normal meals(in compare with other Tbilisi/Batui/Borjomi restaurants) at Marco polo hotel but in very higher price. the Shisha wa awfull & 4 times more expensive than other bars & lounges! just one of the staff was friendly & cooperating at bowling bar& the rest of them had poor English communication & were kind of rude to all foreign guests. we planned to leave the hotel 1 day earlier & we could not get a penny as a refund of approximate $1000 remained of our balance & one more very funny & important note: this hotel charge each 1 more little bottle of water you ask for 4 Gel insted of 0.4 Gel .
