Location, right downtown, everywhere walkable. Good air conditioning, king bed, nice pool, free morning coffee, very clean. Also, friendly efficient staff keep property very clean. I’m a 75 year old traveller, not a tourist, and this very affordable hotel was perfect for me. My thanks to Tomas & his staff.

Clean, No Frills Hotel
Very nice small hotel, very close to the market, beach and great restaurants. There is very little English spoken at the front desk but they are very accommodating. There is no elevator and our room was on the fourth floor so be prepared to climb stairs. The room is very basic, no frills and very clean. We had a little balcony with two chairs which was lovely to sit and watch the neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay at the Zihua Express and Zihuatanejo very much!

Zihua Express gets A Plus.
Zihuatanejo is a great place. Our stay in Centro was perfect. Close to all the restaurants. We found fantastic tacos el pastor. Wonderful breakfast place right at the end of our block. Roasted chicken to take away with one block over fresh tortillas. This is in a very safe neighborhood. We walked everywhere and never felt a concern. The water was very warm and calm at the beach closest to Centro. Great free entertainment every evening at the main square right off the beach especially Sunday nights. This is excellent for families to visit. Our hotel Zihua Express gets A plus plus for cleanliness. the staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful visit and will be back.
