It was a run of the mill old school motel 6, reasonable price and we could bring our dogs. I would stay with my dogs again but would find a nicer hotel and location when not traveling with our dogs.

An absolute terrible stay, the room reeeked of cigarettes when i got there and nothing else available. Over charged for cleaning and did not refund the day we did not use. The room looked good online but was well out of date and grubby. Pick anywhere but here if you have a choice

The motel itself is ok. But the service especially the way the woman that works overnight is awful. This woman is extremely rude...she wouldnt even give me a second key card stating there was a shortage of keycards (ummm....REALLY??). The rest of the staff were nice enough but due to the hateful attitude of the one staff member i am checking out of this place and not ever coming back. Theres no microwave or fridge or coffee or breakfast or ANYTHING to make up for such crappy attitude.

The room is ok. The location is good. If people are playing music full volume to the point of your room wall vibrating you will have to speak to office otherwise they will allow it happen. I stayed in this location for a month so it was a temporary home for me, i had stuff i needed to pack up and organize in my car so i called to ask for late check out. They only offered me an additional 15 minutes, locked me out of my room twice while i was loading up my car and then gave me attitude and snarky remarks when i had to have the key fixed twice, adding to my check out time. I spoke with manager and he did not care at all, he said, "well im sorry" in a tone that was not genuine.

Was told there was no housekeeping, limited towels. Accidentally left spare cell phone in the room after checking out, went back within 1 hour and phone gone. Filed a police report. Management on duty, rude and very unhelpful.

Our whole experience was terrible! No customer service, very dirty and very unprofessional. We called ahead to inform the front desk that we will arrive late - she made a comment we must get there before 2:30 am because she has to do her audit and then we can’t check in. We arrive at 2am to a disgustingly dirty room the bedroom sheets had urine stains on them, hair everywhere and the walls had dirt stains as well. We call down for a new room and we were expected to go all the way back to the office to get a new room. We go down and I get a phone call saying if I don’t come down myself then I won’t get a room or we can’t stay there. I went down to the office, got a new card and to our surprise the new room That is “Upgraded” And “deluxe” was dirty As well! Hair all over the pillows and burnt wholes in the sheets. Dirt on walls and the floor was dirty as well. We were so exhausted as it took an hour to get the new room, we settled. In the morning, we called to let them know we will be late checking on to only find the front desk agent fighting with me saying she gave us an upgraded room for free. I mentioned nothing was free as I clearly paid for it. I dropped the key card and I will never ever stay here again!

I always stay with motel 6. Your pet policy and prices are so genuine and fair that id never see a point going anywhere else. I also love the hardwood flooring you always seem to use over carpet. It just has a much cleaner feel. So theres the good. Because what happened at lakewood is not my experience with motel 6 in any way, it is purely with this location, and honestly. One individual.
