    Great location. Noisy.

    Great location, but there's a lot of noise. You can hear people talking from any hallway or even the lobby while you are in your room. There is no restaurant, you need to walk a short distance to another hotel to eat the included breakfast. Food and service in restaurant are bad.

    This hotel has the perfect location when visiting Guanajuato. We got the larger suite that faces the cathedral. Excellent views and the price should be way higher in my opinion. Staff is super friendly and they offer complimentary breakfast. I’ll be back soon.

    We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. I love the spacious comfortable room and comfortable bed. I especially love the location of the room everything in walking distance. The breakfast is not in the hotel you have to walk down the street a little but it’s worth the walk the breakfast was delicious every day with lots of options.

    I make regular visits to Guanajuato, and Hotel de la Paz has become my "go-to" lodging. Unlike many 5-star reviews, this one represents not the pinnacle of luxury, but rather an optimal combination of ambiance, location and price. The location cannot be be improved. It faces the beautiful Plaza de La Paz, and three rooms feature balconies overlooking that beautiful urban space. The iconic Union Square is a three minute walk, a distance that serves to mute any noise from late-night revelries. Most of the major sights can be accessed on foot. The facilities and furnishings are a bit spare, with the exception of bedding, which is downright luxurious. The breakfast, provided at an affiliated hotel down the street, is better than your usual buffet. My shower delivered a strong surge of hot water. The wifi is dependable. Housekeeping is impeccable. The English-speaking desk staff is relaxed and eager to please. The more refined Hotel Vierrey is just a few steps away, but at nearly twice the price, I'm unlkely try it. Hotel de la Paz has earned my loyalty.
