It was ok things were broken in my room I had to change rooms
Tv and toilet didn't work
I stay at Hyatt’s all the time while traveling, both for business and pleasure. I have never met a guest representative so accommodating and sweet as Aisha. She is outstanding!! The gentleman who works in the evenings at the desk was wonderful. Very professional.
Everything was great except for the tv and phone. It took someone to come in twice to get the tv to work. I tried using the phone the first time i wanted to report the tv but the phone had been unplugged and was dead.
The stay was fine. There was paid parking and an incidental charge at check in that was unexpected. I also did not get a receipt with my stay so was unsure everything that had been charged. The room was very nice although the bathroom wasn't the cleanest. The staff was very nice and friendly and they had a large spread for breakfast. I appreciated the later check out at noon.
It was a very nice getaway with a comfy bed! The doors could have been heavier, as other guests were very loud late at night
I definitely recommend staying at the Hyatt in Champaign! It was clean and close to a lot of things!
The hotel was very clean and the room was spacious. The service was excellent as well. Love that the parking garage is connected to the hotel and you cannot access the room floors without the key card in the elevator. Very convenient and safe. The hotel is right in the heart of great dining and drinking establishments.
In the days of COVID, the concept of cleanliness becomes of utmost importance. I felt that the Hyatt did an excellent job of making sure folks were wearing masks, cleaning counters, etc; The room was also very clean. Additionally, the safety measures so that the lobby and the rooms must be accessed via room keys, is excellent. We felt very safe. The indoor pool is not open, due to COVID, as may be expected. The location is perfect; we actually walked the 2 miles to campus since it was a beautiful fall day. The hotel is in a town square full of nice restaurants.
I’d stay here again. Location is great. I stayed two nights. There was someone by breakfast area filling platters but I didn’t see anyone wiping down or cleaning the tables. All tables had little sticker in them saying they were clean but that sticker was just always there. Maybe it’s being done ? Hopefully so. Staff was always wearing masks which I appreciated. But also people still refusing to wear masks in small elevators. We got out and waited for next one. Such a small space to not follow guidelines. My last little critiques. - beds very soft , overly so and this is picky but the bathroom garbage can itself was dirty/gross looking and it’s one of those where you have to touch the lid to open it. Maybe an open can in the bathroom would be better.
