Bad Experience again.
This round was sucks. Room booked for 2 rooms was not given to according to what I have booked. Not valued for the price paid. Supposedly to be one queen bed and one single. Ended up with a queen room with a single super close to it. The other room just a queen bed. Checked with the reception but he insisted that that what I have booked. Only one with queen bed room was changed at the end. Super piss off. Bad experience this round again.

Penang Heritage and Grandeur
One of the finer hotels in Penang, very beautiful building, filled with aristocratic grandeur in a central location.

Good enough room for families with 5 members
It is located near to where most of the wall art is. It is 12 mins' walk to the clan jetties. 10 mins' walk from Chulia street night hawker. 2 mins' walk to Sun yat Sun museum. The staff responded well to requests e.g. leaking pipes in sink and slanted single bed. The toilet door could not be shut. A great family room for 5 though considering the price and the size of the room and basic amenities.

Beware of bed bugs.
Location was great, just a couple minutes walk away from all the major sights and famous murals in George Town. However, the air-conditioner in my room was leaking and the staff claimed that they were full and unable to switch our rooms, and just placed a towel under the leaking air-conditioner. Additionally, I was bitten by bugs (bed bugs? dust mites? other kinds?) during my sleep and it was only on the last day that I realised it had something to do with the sheets or mattress as I woke up with two red itchy swells on my back and shoulder that weren’t there the night before. The previous nights, I assumed that it was mosquitoes as they were swollen like mosquito bites, but the following day, subsided to a red bump with a small white centre. Definitely was something in the room that bit me every night for 3 nights as I left with both arms covered in big bites by the end of the trip.
