Peaks to Park trip
Convent location to walk a couple of blocks to dinner ( which was a great recommendation from the hotel staff). Afraid that the nearby railroad track might make for a noisy night - but that was not the case. Hotel was quite quiet. Simple breakfast, but that’s what was expected. We’d stay here again.

You really do get what you pay for. I already knew the room and bed were not going to be top notch but what really bothered me was the customer service, specifically the evening front desk attendant named "Sam". My partner and I specifically chose this hotel to stay at because it was cheap and pet friendly. But when we got there the attendant "Sam" said they dont allow pet but she'll just let it but we have to pay fee for the pet $25 and put $100 deposit.The way she said it make us feel unwelcome. Also said that she needs to check the room before we check out to make sure our dog did not ruin anything. We are smart we asked "Sam" to come checked the room after we checked in cause we don't want to be blame if there is already broken stuff, Sam took 3 step in and said everything is good and left. Later on that night when we are getting ready to eat, my daughter sat down on the chair and it was already broken I went and look for the attendant and this time the guy attendant was there and said its okay and He will not charge it to us. He was nice. The water pressure should be fixed. We were not able to sleep good cause the noise, you can hear every steps above us and the couple having sex next door all night. In all this I wanted to write this review so that "Sam" can be re educated about basic customer service in order to prevent future patrons from having to feel the way my family did when we stayed at the red river inn that one time.

Save your dignity and go somewhere else
I didn't expect much being a budget motel however I didn't expect to be treated so poorly either. I have a disability and require a service dog. When checking in, the man tried to charge me extra, accused me of making it up and made several other rude and inappropriate comments. Besides being belittled, the room was dirty and didn't have much, no cups to drink water, etc. I hope you never have to stay here.

I stayed one night on a Monday. Not many cars in the lot. Check in was reasonably quick. Was given a ground floor room. Had a comfortable bed. Plenty of hot shower water. Had a quiet night and a decent sleep. Would stay again if I was in the area.
