Staff professional and friendly. When we arrived the standard rooms were sold out so we got a free upgrade. The room was spacious and very comfortable bed. Unfortunately we weren’t in Cebu for long so didn’t experience the facilities of the hotel. But would recommend the hotel!

I am fed up of emails from Expedia requesting reviews. But the review reminders are beyond the pale. I owe no duty to review. So from now on, when I get a review reminder, I will rate the hotel terrible on all counts. Hopefully the hotel will tell Expedia to stop annoying their guests. There are other hotel booking websites out there.

Great staff, location and food options outside of the hotel. The shower was broken, which may have just been my room.

I used to stay Mandarin Plaza very frequently. They had been quite fully booked. Business too good in recent year. So good that there had been extended delays with inefficient queue system. People wait so long to check in and check out. They don't have a king size or even a queen for me despite me checking in early. Therefore I joint the two single beds together on my own. They had wanted to charge me 1,000PHP for that. This is the first time ever in my life that I traveled which I hear a hotel wanting to charge a guest for joining two beds together. I seriously thought it was a joke. I was super pissed off. So pissed that I went straight to Parklane Cebu hotel to stay the following day. Their efficiency could have been better especially managing the queue. I was early to register my details in the morning and thought that when I am at the counter at 3pm for check in, it would be faster. No I was wrong. They are seriously that slow even when you had earlier registered.

Hotel location is good & Comfortable room Staff reception is friendly But for muslim we need Halal food. It will attract more Muslims regionally or globally. It will boost Hotel industry if Muslims was offer variety of Halal food. Example like Singapore. Many singapore hotels offer variety of Halal food thus Muslim globally like to visit Singapore & keep coming. If phillipine Hotels offer variety of Halal food i believe muslims world wide will visit philipine frequently. Thus create more jobs opportunities & reduce poverty in your country & increase country Gdp. Dont forget Muslims world wide polpulation near to 2 billions people. Is very big market share for hotels if Halal food easily advailable. Power of buying is there as many muslims like to travel . Many muslims prefer Halal friendly Hotel as their first choice if there is Halal friendly hotels in phillipine. Hopefully hotels in phillipine welcome 2 billions muslims worldwide . I believe many muslims will recommend to others muslims if Halal friendly hotels is advailable.. Thank you

The Mandarin Plaza is a good option for any traveler. The room is very comfortable, the breakfast is more than abundant and satisfying. The Hotel is very safe and in a great location for traveling inside Cebu.shopping or just enjoying the city The front desk tends to have not enough staff at check in or check out times which causes many persons standing in the lobby which creates problems entering the Hotel The lobby and the front desk are in the same location. When there are heavy amounts of bookings the breakfast area tends not to have available clean tables to use or the food offered is not available. Additional staff should be available when the bookings are very high for the front desk and restaurant areas.. That would reduce many issues during the stay of the guest in the Hotel to have the best enjoyable stay Besides that The Hotel offers a great stay.

There was a day that I left some of my valuables out in the open - I forgot to put them in the safe before leaving for the day and I was a bit anxious given the country I was in that possibly they were going to be taken. When I came back to the hotel room, I was relieved to find everything was still there. I was so elated at this and at check out I spoke to the operations manager about my positive feedback and ended up rewarding the housekeeper with an additional tip - a reward for doing the right thing. When my wife and I go back to the Philippines, we will be staying here again!
