Birthday Ibis visit
It was so good to get away from the normal! To change our scenery not to forget about covid but to know that was taken care of safely and securely by Ibis. It was my husband’s birthday and I didn’t want it to pass by uncelebrated and it didn’t thanks to Ibis! Perfectly placed in the hun of our wonderful city Liverpool we were able to visit all places we wanted to, and then back for a complementary cocoa and a warm comfortable room and bed. The grab and go breakfast set us up for our brisk walk through the city to chance the sales we will most certainly be back to the Ibis the staff were wonderful and welcoming nothing was too much trouble we will be back for my birthday definitely.😊

Excellent stay in difficult times. Hotel staff friendly without exception. Room quirky, modern & clean. Breakfast was an innovative mix of a bag with cutlery, juice & milk, coffee/ tea machines, yoghurts, lots of fresh fruit & cereal in sealed containers and a manned hot food station with toast made to order, croissants, sausages & hash browns

Went to check in at 14.30 and was told it would cost £10.00 for checking in 30 minutes early. I asked if we could just leave our bags so we could do some shopping and check in on our return. We had three bags and were charged £1.00 per bag to leave in an empty cupboard. When we got to our room the heating was broken and on our way out I reported this to the maintenance staff who said they would have a look at the problem. On return to our room later that evening heating still wasn’t working and it was freezing. Reported this again as we were checking out and was informed that the heating couldn’t be fixed but I could have had a portable heater if I had asked for one. Why wasn’t a portable heater left in the room after discovering the heating could not be fixed.

We were greeted at reception by a very pleasant lady the check in was quick.The room was small but quirky,clean and comfortable.There was nothing to much trouble fir the staff allways on hand if we wanted anything.We will definitely stay there again.

We received a lovely friendly welcome, the room was very clean and tidy, and the bed was fantastic! One of the best nights sleep away from our own bed ever! Will stay again.

On check in the guy was going to charge my card again. Also room was ok but had no view at all from window looked into a boxed in square making room dark and dingy. A lot of noise from other hotel guests in the early hours of the morning.

Hotel was better than expected, the staff were marvellous and really enhanced our stay. We would certainly use ibis hotels in the future after this experience. This was our first visit to Liverpool it will not be our last, the whole experience exceeded our expectation. Frank
