Historic hotel with character close to city centre
A 17th century hotel full of character situated very close to the historic entre of Chester. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our meal in the restaurant was excellent. Our room was very clean, smallish but with a very comfortable bed. A few hooks or a shelf in the en suite would be useful. Limited parking is available on first come first served basis, otherwise a public car park is nearby. Recommended.

Excellent
Stayed here for a couple of nights with my partner. Loved the Tudor style of the pub! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Fabulous breakfast... So yummy. Excellent location, so close to the town centre. Only down side was the shower pressure, but this is understands due to the age of the building! Would definitely stay here again
