A night at Ueno
The location is quite near to train station, and it is quiet and peaceful neighborhood. There is a garden nearby. The service was great.

An unforgettable stay!
I stayed in this hotel for 2 days in the late September 2015. As a solo traveller, I'm staying in a 2 beds room. It's a shared toilet and bathroom hotel, but so far I don't have to q up whenever I need to use it, so that's fine for me. It's a clean and quiet environment. May not be easy to find the hotel, but if you have a 3G line with google map, you will be able to reach your destination. The nearest station will be Nezu Station. But if you want to go shopping or eat great food, you can walk towards the Ueno Station where it will take approximately 10-15mins to reach there (depending on your walking speed). I like the quiet and clean environment. If you need an iron and an iron board, you can request from the receptionist. The staff here are very friendly. I feel welcomed staying here. Highly recommended to stay with reasonable price. :)

Nice place if you are ok with communal bathrooms
I booked a room here the same evening I stayed, as it was not planned for me and my parents to even spend the night in Tokyo. This hotel had a room available so I took it, despite the high rate. (What do you expect though, it was a Saturday night). We walked from the Ueno train station which took about 10-15 minutes. The host at the reception desk was so kind and spoke English. The communal toilet didn't bother me, nor the communal shower being on a different floor (there is a curtain for privacy with 2 shower stalls). I would stay here again in a pinch.

My new home in Tokyo!
Hotel Graphy is better than advertised! Close to the Metro, great places to eat, Ueno Park with all its treasures, Ueno Station, etc etc. I will tell all my friends to stay here. You should stay here, too. -Tommy, Southern California.
