Hotel fully booked despite our booking earlier
When we 1st checked in, we were told the hotel was full and they made arrangement for us to go to another Scandic hotel to stay. However, that Scandic Hotel was a bit dated and we decided to move back to the hotel booked originally for the next 2 nights. The hotel upgraded our rooms in compensation for the inconvenience caused to us.

Excellent hotel, modern, clean and efficient staff. Breakfast well managed in the restaurants under COVID circumstances and No coffee machine and electric kettle in the room Again due to COVID. Parking is across the roof

The room wasn’t cleaned daily. We got back at 5.30pm and the beds weren’t even made. Very hit and miss on what was cleaned in the bedroom each day. We were told breakfast was until 10.30am and double checked the night before only to find the next morning it finished at 9.30am!!

2 min walk from the train station, superb selection of buffet breakfast and helpful reception on travel queries. the hotel is walkable to most tourist spots and buses/tram 2 min away from hotel,will stay here again if I visit bergen
