La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham at Zion Park/Springdale

This may be the best place we’ve stayed in Zion so far. Room and property are impeccably clean and the view as soon as you walk out your hotel door is worth staying here alone. Staff is welcoming and helpful and they even do breakfast to go (which most hotels don’t even opt for breakfast anymore because of COVID). The cherry on top? They are super close to the park entrance and pet friendly. This is definitely our new go to spot to stay.

I understand Covid concerns, but the “breakfast in a bag” is a poor excuse for a snack. No protein. Nothing hot. Even greek yogurt would have helped. How about a protein bar. The worse part was the fact that their website and your website advertises a full breakfast. Lastly, La Quinta has the worst “coffee in the room”of any of the chains we frequent. Have they not heard of a single brew K-Cup? It’s the 21st century. It’s also clear that pets are their priority. Have they considered asking customers as they make reservations whether they would want a pet or no-pet room? It works for smoking/non-smoking!

Hotel was in a great location and we were excited for a Christmas Zion getaway. When we checked in, there was a very distinct odor so I immediately called the front desk. A woman named Felicia answered and was very rude and short with me. First she told me there were no more rooms (after she told my boyfriend that the hotel was half full) and after going back and forth she told me we could move but it would cost us $20 additional per night PLUS they would charge us for cleaning the room since we entered it. I understand we are in a pandemic but the room smelled horrible which was not our fault. Luckily we were out hiking most of the time (and not in the room) but this was a huge disappointment considering all the great reviews. Absolute lack of customer service!

Very clean and beautiful views. But breakfast could be better.

The hotel seems brand-new and modern and is a quick drive to the entrance of Zion National Park. That said, it is wood-construction and sound travels between rooms. The combination of the mediocre bed quality and the thin walls highlights that this is a mid-tier hotel, but despite these attributes, the friendly staff and quiet area more than make up and enable a comfortable stay. Surprisingly decent stay and excellent area.

It was a great stay. The room was clean, easily accessible, water for shower was hot all the time needed. Bed was comfortable. The desk staff was courteous and helpful. The location provided access to local restaurants with short walks. I could not have ask for anything else (unless they were a Marriot property and I could get points :))

Excellent stay @ Springdale. Very close to the Zion National Park entrance, which was the reason for the trip. Breakfast can use more variety, but I understand that it's a limitation due to Covid. Pillows are a bit thicker than our family are used to. It would be nice to have more variety for comfort and avoid neck pain. However, these are minor items. It was a great stay for our family overall :)

The staff was very rude after we related that our room was unsatisfactory. They refused to give us another room. My newlywed wife and I were very disappointed in the hotel’s service and their overall lack of care for the customer.

Great place, we will definitely return. And they are pet friendly so we could bring our dog.
