We chose this hotel specifically because it is attached to the Mall of America. We have stayed here previously, but it has been a few years. Overall, the stay was fine and what we needed for location. The parking and general functionality/accessibility of the hotel is lacking - it's not easy to get to/from the parking garage to interior of the hotel. In order to get from the lobby/reception to guest rooms with a large load, you need to take 2 different elevators. Especially when traveling with kids and strollers, this is extra frustrating. The rooms are showing some definite wear - stains on the carpet, worn/torn desk chairs, part of the closet was falling apart, chips in the mirrrors, etc. The rooms were clean, but worn. We experienced several helpful staff members, including on the front drive, but it was disappointing not to have bell staff to assist with luggage.
