Very nice hotel in East Jerusalem. 5 minute walk from the Damascus Gate, great location. Very nice staff who helped me to book a tour of Galilee, the breakfast was good and the room was comfortable (albeit a bit dated, as is most of East Jerusalem. The neighborhood looks a little rough-around-the-edges, but was perfectly safe. Overall, I would highly recommend

Nice place
Wonderful manager who is very friendly and helpful. The staff was nice also. Place is comfortable. The food was delish and a nice variety. Only thing was the carpet needs cleaning. other then that it was nice to stay there and felt secure and comfortable.

It was an Awesome Experience as a solo female traveler from United States. The staff were extremely helpful. Once when I was running late, one of the staff members even took me to my tour bus in order to ensure that I didn't miss a tour. The rooms were always clean, and the sheets were always changed. In terms of the air conditioner and the water temperature in the shower, they too were simply perfect. I will certainly return to the Victoria Hotel and also refer others as well. Fantastic place to stay in the Old City
Great experience. The staff are friendly band helpful, the room is a great value, the AC is cold, and the breakfast is an out of this world smorgasbord!

Good little know hotel near the old city
Good location. Friendly service. Helpful staff. The room somewhat old but comfortable. The dining room provides 24 hr coffee and tea with hot water. The food was good but lack of variety. The price is right for the location near the old city.

Ideal short stay hotel for Al-Aqsa for families
Excellent place to stay 12 minute walk to Al- Aqsa, whilst carrying child on my shoulders. Breakfast perfect, very friendly staff, amenities close by. We booked a room with 2 children and had no problems family orientated hotel.

It was fine except everything I read said we were in easy walking distance to old city. I booked the room with my elderly mom (89) it was no where near close enough for her. The staff were great though. Very understanding of the situation so we only stayed one night of our 4 night stay.

Decent hotel, poor service, nice breakfast buffet!
The hotel was in a decent area where food was very inexpensive compared to other parts of Israel so that was a bonus. Despite this, on the first night, the hotel staff was not able to direct us to a place where we could find food and instead told us that everything around the area would be closed at 8p (when that was clearly not the case). Poor customer service for sure! The breakfast buffet was very good. The food was fresh and the chef was happy to explain and tell us about the food....that was a nice personal touch!
