We traveled to Rothenberg Ob Der Tauber, Germany (via car) and stayed at Hotel Rappen, which is located right outside the city. It is a two minute walk to the Aldstadt (old city). The hotel offers free parking for guests, breakfast was included with our stay and it has a restaurant & Bier Garten on site. The hotel was very clean, with warm and friendly staff and many COVID-19 precautions put into place. We felt very safe staying there and the location couldn’t be beaten especially for the price!

The property is undergoing some renovations to join two buildings in the meanwhile reception is about a half a block away from the Main Street entrance. My room was tiny with a gigantic television. I had to close my luggage to walk to the bathroom because it took up the entire floor space. Breakfast was good and the staff were great otherwise.
