Location was fantastic. Staff was generally friendly and have attended to our needs most of the time. Wifi sucks big time. Even our room can’t detect a single bar of signal from telcos either. Food sucks as well. Not much variety for a buffet breakfast. I stay for 2 nights and it almost had the same menu. Food is really disappointing but since RWM is just around the corner, I get spoilt for choices of the best Filipino foods.
The hotel is clean, staff were friendly & gave us extra sheet & blankets for the sofa bed. The hotel has free shuttle service to the airport which really made our transit easy.
I have been staying at this hotel since Remington time; and always stayed at this hotel for my trip to Manila. Last July when I was there, the rooms are not renovated. This time, the hotel rooms have been upgraded, room is nicer, shower area slightly bigger, there's chiller in the room, aircon can be adjusted. Overall the room condition is good. Breakfast is boring as they served almost the same dishes and choices are limited. Will definitely come back again.

Very dirty sofa bed, food crumbs from previous guests meaning sofa bed was never cleaned or vacuumed before stay. I saw 2 different insects on the sofa bed on 2 separate occasions. There was also a cockroach running on the floor in my room for close to an hour before it went out of the hotel room door. Wifi was very slow until I called for internet help. Router needs to be restarted before resuming normal (not fast) speeds. Phone will also drop wifi connection when it is not being used, so you need to keep your phone unlocked else wifi is off and you will not know whether there are incoming messages. Toilet light is very erratic. Despite being switched off, the light will automatically turn on and off several times, sometimes for entire 5 minutes, by itself. This happened not only once but every single night for 4 nights stay. You have to throw the towels on the floor for Housekeeping to change them daily. While this may be veiled as a green eco initiative instead of cost cutting, think of the insects crawling (above) and cleanliness of the toilet. The customers’ well being shouldn’t be compromised for cost cutting. How about making guests to place them elsewhere in the room rather than on the floor? Breakfast is pathetic. Only saving grace is the pineapple yoghurt and cream cheese pastry. Road outside is also actually quite noisy at night. Overall, I will have expected better from Holiday Inn, but I will never stay in this particular one ever again.
Proximity to Resorts World and Terminal 3. Attentive staff, excellent customer service and cleanliness of the room. I would recommend this hotel.
