Small, functional, not the best rest
The rooms are exactly what you'd expect: small, but very functional for the space. Unfortunately, the beds aren't terribly comfortable, and the way the window shutters are designed it's almost impossible to get true blackout. It's a bit quieter than average for an NYC hotel. Worth considering if it's cheaper than a normal hotel, you definitely get the value you pay for. The staff was excellent and very helpful.

Great for price, small rooms, great location
Overall excellent stay. Very affordable and great location. Rooms are very small, but that’s fine if you’re ready for it and aren’t expecting a lot of space. Great for those looking to spend more to explore the city instead of spending a bunch of time in a larger hotel room. The only issue I have is with the sliding door in the bathroom. If you are sharing a room, there is zero privacy. In addition to the charming sound component, if on a top bunk, the frosting on the bathroom sliding window stops low enough that you can fully see into the bathroom as well. Get some doors that provide visual and audio privacy on the bathrooms and it’s a total winner.
