It’s not as advertised. At least not currently.
This may have been a nice hotel at some point but it is no longer the 4-star hotel it is billed as. More like a 2-star. The room was dark with only two tiny windows that didn’t look out on anything (one was more of a vent hole) and some glass brick for light. It was depressing. It also looked like someone had been living in the room. The shower was moldy with a slimy feel to the floor. The furniture wasn’t really clean, with stuff on the coffee table and stains on the couch. The lobby had one or two motor scooters parked in it at all times, blocking one of the few places to sit (as if we’d want to sit there). The restaurant is no longer open and there is no breakfast. There is a small cafe in the courtyard that is nice but they offer no food besides yogurt cups. The courtyard as actually a nice place to sit. There isn’t breakfast available near the hotel unless you want Pho (which we like but not for breakfast) We were depressed by the room and situation and requested for them to let us out of the second and third nights, but they refused so we stayed. We put up with it but did not enjoy our stay. Fortunately, we’ve had much better places to stay on our trip and this one was just a rough patch. There are better places to stay for a similar price in Ho Chi Minh City.

We loved the location, it isn’t close to the city centre but there is plenty to do, many places to eat, and very quiet for a Saigon hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, although rooms on the first floor get some noise from the open lobby. The restaurant hasn’t reopened yet but that didn’t bother us. The one quirk is that the hotel is on a septic system so they ask guests not to flush used toilet paper, and to put it in a bin instead. We’ve seen this many times before, but never in a hotel room. We worked around it using the water hose/bidet and shower. Despite this, we would return.
