It was a pleasant surprise to discover that this building was a historic coach house (inn) dating from the 16th century, completely modernized. It is only two blocks from the wide selection of shops and restaurants in the historic Alcala de Henares old town, a World Heritage Site that hosts a contemporary university.

Given a corner room with extremely low beams. Both my husband and I hit our heads multiple times. Internet was extremely spotty and very slow. I was also quite surprised that there was no soap to wash your hands. The desk clerk was competent very pleasant. She made us a second door card when the first one wouldn’t work and helped us with parking.

An overnight stay to break the journey from the south to the ferry in Santander. We were very pleased with the helpful staff and the service we received after a long journey. There was safe and secure parking for our car which was packed with our belongings. The room was clean and well proportioned with an extremely comfortable bed. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and when we visit again we will definitely stay at this hotel again. Alcala de Henares is a beautiful town, very friendly, that should be visited.

Very cute and comfortable hotel. Staff was very friendly, especially the girl that worked nights. Very helpful and took extra time to make us feel welcome. Close to the town and it is a must see experience. Parking was a little hard to find especially when they shut off parking on the street behind the hotel. Only a few minutes walk to the center. About 20 minute drive to the Madrid airport without the hassle of Madrid traffic.
