A 2 star hotel quality with a 5 star price tag
For the price we paid, the room was smaller than expected, in fact, the first room we checked in had an awful smell came put of the toilet, and not long after, a cockroach came for a visit. When we approached the reception, new room was offered but no apology, its as if they expect this to happen. We stayed for a total of 5 nights, and everyday the breakfast menu remain the same with very limited choice. Again, for the price we paid this was very disappointing. The air conditioner has a mind of its own, so you woke up with a frigidly cold room. The shower room is made for people who stopped growing after the age of 12. And lastly, the fridge in the room make such a loud grunting noise that we need to shut it off at night time, putting some dairy products like my daughter milk at risk of being spoiled. We ended up spending so much time outside of the hotel, a much cheaper room at a much cheaper hotel would have sufficed without forking out the £££ for what was essentially 2 star hotel. Avoid if you plan a long stay.
