Really liked the location very close to, but not on, the beach. For early morning and evening walks and a swim on the beach, the place is simply perfect. We didn’t use the pool at all because the weather was very good, and the sea (in terms of clarity and warmth of the water) was by far our preferred option (we live in Hawaii but Nai Harn beach is definitely hard to beat). Our only disappointment was with the breakfast. We felt there should be more non-meat options (they seem to put meat in almost every dish), the powder-based coffee machine does not produce good coffee, the cross wind kept blowing out the heating elements (so the food was hardly ever hot), and the food waste (more the fault of the guests abusing the buffet format rather than the hotel) was hard to justify. I talked the management about these issues, so, hopefully, by the time of our next visit, things will have improved. We will definitely stay at this property again. The room, staff, and access to a wonderful beach make it well worth recommending almost whole-heatedly.

Amazing property! World class multi-tiered infinity pool with a water slide, too notch staff that was incredibly polite and accommodating, and the included morning breakfast had a great variety of delicious food. The beach was also walkable, but the included shuttle was very convenient when it gets really hot out. It’s not right next to the beach, but about a five to ten minute stroll. The rooms and the included views are incredible, and the staff once again deserves extra praise for being so great.

We have now been all over Phuket and some nearby islands for about 10 days. No question, no contest, Sunsuri Phuket and Nai Harn Beach have been our highlight here for sure. Not much going on. Those who love Patong and nightlife would not be happy here. Too quiet. After almost 9 months of travel, it’s just what we needed. Mellow, warm, clear beach—no waves. We had to navigate 71 stairs to go up and down from our room. 😐 But...watching the sunset from our balcony every night made it more than worth it. Free shuttles all day to and from beach. (It’s only about 3 blocks away.😊) Great staff, esp. at reception. Food at Sails not so great. Sorry guys.

What I like about this hotel is the location: it’s located next to Nai Harn Beach, a relatively quiet outskirts of Phuket. Nai Harn itself is a beautiful beach with an amazing view. If you want to stay away from the messy Patong, this is what you need. I wish the amenities could be replenished as frequent as possible, as I requested to have toothpaste for a couple of times throughout the stay.
