About The Independent Hotel - Rome

Stylish hotel with free breakfast steps from Termini Station

2 stops to the Colosseum

The Independent Hotel is 5 minutes by foot from Termini Metro Station, which is only 2 stops from the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. The upscale shopping street Via Nazionale is less than 10 minutes away on foot, and the National Roman Museum is a 5-minute walk.

4 stops to the Vatican

A 20-minute walk takes you to the Trevi Fountain, one of Rome's most enduring and romantic icons, made famous in countless films. Four stops from Repubblica and 10 minutes' walk is another Rome essential: Vatican City, with its numerous works of art, including the Sistine Chapel.

Breakfast with a view

The free hot breakfast buffet is made with local, organic products and served in a top floor room with superb views through floor-to-ceiling windows. You can relax on the Rooftop Garden with a glass of wine from the wine bar later in the day, or check email on an iPad® borrowed from the hotel. Amenities also include fitness facilities.

Free WiFi, pillow menu

The hotel's bright, modern rooms have light wood floors and are decorated in soothing beige and chocolate brown tones. Alongside free WiFi, all rooms include satellite TV, a free bottled water, electric kettle, and an extensive pillow menu.

Nice hotel, close to train station.
The room was very spacious, comfortable, and everything in good shape. While I wouldn’t rate it as a 5 star luxury hotel, it was very nice and serviceable. The bathrooms newer, updated, clean and well maintained. The employees very nice and helpful. Check-in was a breeze. The reception area is pretty small. The roof top terrace was lovely. Hotel located close to the train station. It is not noisey, but the area is just on the outskirts of old Rome and is a little funky. I’d stay again if I needed a good location close to the train station.
