We would highly recommend Hotel Crystal. Very near railway station in a quiet street. Clean comfortable and clever room design. We felt safe walking in the area. Need a 3 pin European adapter for charging electrical equipment. Lido on lake good for a visit.

Too warm to sleep! I could not control the room temperature. It was too warm. I turned the heat completely off and still it was too warm. I needed to open the windows to be comfortable enough to sleep, which was way too noisy to do. Would not stay again.

This hotel was in a great location. Near the train so it was easy to get to from the airport. The 20 bus was nearby to get me to the botanical gardens, the RedCross museum and UN. It was near the bus tour departure point for my tours to Chamonix and Gruyère. Good souvenir shopping and good restaurants. It was a short walk to the lake. The room was tiny but very modern and clean and quiet. The included breakfast had a nice variety of foods. I would definitely stay again.
