Un secure / Stolen Property/ruined vacation
The Valet took my truck , Stole gas and went though our bags and truck We sat and waited at the hotel for over an hour , he didnt come back So we left for Dinner our bags showed up We told the Hotel to call the Police They said they fired him Cant believe this Cant believe the Hotel ( that they fired him ) We want the police and him there The Hotel management didn’t help Just a sorry Sadly they ruined our trip here, and wouldn’t be coming back to this town Or for sure the Hotel Magda was very nice to us The rest of the manager did Zero to help recover out property or pay for our stolen Gas! #unsecurehotel

A perfect hotel!
The location across from the Jardin was perfect. Despite the noise in this lively area (fun music) our room was quiet. Each room in the hotel is uniquely decorated and named —we enjoyed red-dominant Sophie. Breakfast was included at next door Cafe Valadez and is served till noon! Staff was superb, and special thanks to Daniel, Carlos, Magda and Blanco. We didn’t bring pets, but Boutique 1850 is pet friendly. You’ll see colorful sculptures of dogs as you go to your room. A must is to head for the roof terrace bar at sunset. We shall return!

A singular experience
Great location, wonderful staff, and excellent accommodations. This was a one-night side trip on our way to San Miguel de Allende for 2 months. However after this experience we will definitely come back to this hotel and Guanajuato as a primary destination.

Perfect location and a comfortable room. The windows in the room open to the courtyard, so the rooms stays quiet. My sole dislike is the obscure glass door in the bathroom - although this is a trendy touch it offers far less privacy than traditional construction. The poor rating for eco-friendliness is due to the individual use toiletries and single use plastic water bottles, both easy fixes that can help sustain our planet.
