The Naswa Resort - Laconia

We went to see a concert and needed a place close by to stay. I found Naswa by accident. It turned out to be a great location. Right on the lake. They have a good restaurant and a sweet sand bar that also serves a full menu. They also had a killer band playing at the beach bar all night. It was a great stay!

I would highly recommend not staying at the Naswa Resort. The customer service was terrible. As you can see from the pictures they do not clean very well. These pictures were taken after we went to the front desk and told them we were disappointed in how clean our room was. They told us that they cleaned our room. As you can see that was not true. Then they moved us to another room. It felt very dirty and outdated. As you can see they only have a cheap chain to lock your door. The slider we needed a knife to try and get the hook they call a door lock to work. The bed sank when you sat on it, the towel bar in the bathroom was bent in half, the fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy, the fridge fell apart, the coffee pot barely worked. When we put our towels on the floor to be replaced with new ones they took the dirty ones and never gave us any new towels or toiletries. I can go on. If you want to get away and stay in a nice relaxing place this is not the place to go. Save your money.

Great place to stay. Lakefront property. Complimentary kayaks. Bonfire. Good food. Bar on lake. Very friendly staff. Would definitely go back.

Bar closed early and the resort was just about deserted Parking is tough
