The Naswa Resort - Laconia
Overpriced outdated.
Very outdated motel in a congested area on busy road. Old fashion metal room keys difficult to use, must lock and unlock room with key from outside. Outdated lounge and restaurant with very loud singer. Do not recommend.

Great location but aging diminishes value
This resort is in a great location with beautiful views of the lake. The room we had was facing the parking lot, so it impacted our experience, but room was quite small, very dated and only moderately clean. The resort overall is kept in workable condition, but is really very dated. The beach bar area looks great, but being off season sadly, it was not open. Staff was friendly and nice. We did not opt for lake front room as price of this hotel is really up there for the value. I prepaid on a travel website, and to my disadvantage, because a walk-in guest obtained a lake view room while i watched at check-in for the same rate I was paying for parking lot view. If I were running this resort: when its off season and less than %40 full, I'd pro-actively surprise guests and offer free upgrades to lake front or that back building waterfront views on check in to give them a great experience to gush about. I'd also run those outdoor heaters and open the bar with one bar tender for resort guests - even have a manager's happy hour - to infuse the most positive impression of my resort. As it was, it was very warm and no heater would have been needed.

Calm time
The weather was nice, a little too nice. the leaves were only 1/4 of foliage due to the mild temps. The room was great with a waterview of the lake and the classic boats passing by. Best time of the year.

You get what you pay for
The place was ok. Pretty inexpensive so I wasn’t too surprised. I think it would be much better in the summer. We stayed in the beginning of October and it was completely dead. Super noisy in the morning with cars flying by.
