Aseania is situated a little away from main shopping belt, hence its more quiet. The building is charming and need better upkeeping of facilities. Staff however are very friendly and helpful.Staff Mahesh ensured that I got the room that i have requested and always with a smile when I ask him for advise re surrounding area if interest.

The hotel is within walking distance to a very nice beach (even nicer than Cenang Beach) where you can simply sit and relax in a nice café (Hidden café) and watch the beautiful sunset. The Hidden cafe has nice food, friendly staff, and has even live guitar & singing too on the Friday night that we went. Lots of sea sports like parasailing, jet ski, banaboat for the sea lovers too. The location of the hotel is also close to Cenang Beach which is also nice (can ,enjoy drinks on the beach, do foot massage facing the sea, youths entertaining people with their skills in fire rods twirling), underwater World, Cenang Mall and the stretch of shops for food and street shopping that close only around 11pm. Hotel is a little tired-looking, but the room that we got was spacious (though it was not much of a garden view). Nevertheless, the hotel has many amenities (like massage spa, fitness centre, souvenir shop, tour desk, and cultural performances on certain nights). The hotel staff are friendly and very helpful with our many queries.

Bad experience...
In the room, we cannot control the aircond, plugs were not working. We asked 3x for an additional towel. They clean our room at 5pm. The bathroom was dirty and the extractor so Noisy. Breakfast was real bad with hardly no choice.... really bad experience.

Dissapointing buffet dinner at Mahsuri restaurant. Manage to get 4 pieces of prawn gulai and some vegetables. There was balance of few pieces of chicken and beef dish. All chafing dish almost empty. Stingy. Why wait till guest arrive than do replenishing. Coffee was cold cos the coffee warmer was off. For RM45.00 is not worth it. No discrimination but for Mahsuri retaurant better improvment.

hotel definitely needs to be refurbished. Everything is rusty and old. Breakfast is very disappointing so wouldn't dare to try the restaurants. The plus points are staff in various areas are helpful and nice.
