      Very disappointed by this hotel

      Hotel rooms are extremely small with no amenities. TV kept shuttling off, no glasses in the room, bathroom fixtures were old and rotted, no ice machine, comforter on the bed or ANYTHING to warrant the $100 hold for the non-existent incidentals. Closet could barely fit a broom. A total waste.

      The rooftop and the pool are the nicest parts of the hotel. The rooms, eh... not so much. Not horrible but I suppose for the price it would have been nicer. We didn't have a quilt and had only one towel. Luckily they were able to give us some upon asking. Close to all cool bars and hot spots.

      Disappointed

      My experience in my opinion was disappointing for the price I paid for Superior King Room. We got to the hotel and had to search for someone at the front table to check in, got to our room and expected a bigger and more comfortable room as the shown in pictures on their site. The following day they never came to clean our room and replace towels at this point it was almost 4pm. I inquired at the desk after searching for someone for a long time, only to be told they are backed up with cleaning and also that sheets are changed every 3 days, at this point I was over it and so disappointed with my stay, we packed up and left, wasted our money on an unused night... its a nice looking hotel, but just not for my expectations for what was to be my birthday weekend celebration.

      It was too cold to use the pool. Even still, they could have cleaned up the area around the pool a little bit so it would look presentable. Also the rooms were small (expected), but quite a bit of wear and tear for a place that claimed to be upscale, (scratched walls, crooked surfaces, broken phone, bugs gathered in the light fixtures). The rooftop bar was a nice bonus, and the staff was very nice and accommodating! However, the room was also freezing. Even after engineering turned on the heat, it seemed like we couldn’t leave the warm and cozy bed without shivering. Also, the shower was a whole mess! Since the shower wasn’t leveled properly, water would run out and seek the lowest point, which unfortunately wasn’t the drain. Without creating towel barriers, the water would easily run beyond the bathroom door and beyond. Overall, not a horrible experience, but I can’t see myself booking a room here unless it’s a hot summer day.

      I booked a room for my hisband on Expedia and HIs name was on the reservation. We have done this many times as we have a band and book Rooms internationally. However, The hotel gave my hiuband a very difficult time at check in - saying that his name was NOT onthe reservation. But I had used the scroll down feature and. booked the room for Omar Sadly, the checkin agent had no desire to look deeper and scroll down to seey husbands name but rather to make him wait for over an hour in the lobby from 1am-2am. This was also a civil loberties issue because my hisband has Muslim name and I believe he was discriminated against becausemof his name and race. The Peebo refused to allow Omar to check in even after calling me which was a problem as a white person I would not habe had. The agent Peebe told us to call Expedia and they said that his name was in the email and confirmed that the agent was wrong and indeed discriminated against my husband. We intend to sue McCarron hotel for this disgusting display of terrible customer service and racism.

      Rather disappointed that as a paying hotel guest I didn’t get to use the pool due to reservations. Nobody ever came to clean my room. The best part was the balcony. Got the job done for the weekend but a subpar stay at best.
