reat location and wonderful service.
Very clean. There was no mini fridge as stated in the advertisement but that was fine. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was discounted due to not havin buffet style dining and the wait staff were super accommodating and attentive. The hotel is in the midst of everything. Perfect location.

Great location, a quick walk from the main train station, very close to all the great downtown locations. A quick walk to the regional train stations and underground trains. The room was a little small, but what I expect when in Europe.

Very nice hotel in a perfect location - literally on the main market square, 5 min to Lorenzkirche (where there is a convenient metro stop), 5 min to the imperial castle and 1 min to the tourist office. There is an abundance of cafes and restaurants nearby, and even a supermarket on the same street. The rooms are renovated if on the small side, but comfortable. There was a safe for guests and a few toiletries. Nice blinds on windows and a powerful shower. No kettle, which was a shame. We didn’t try breakfast but there were two options (quick continental grab and go, or buffet). The wireless was on the very slow side, as other travellers mentioned. Overall a very nice place and I would certainly go back!

Wonderfully located hotel, very convenient to shops and the market. A modern, clean room perfect for site seeing. The parking is pricey, but I think that’s normal for the city. We didn’t have the breakfast, but heard people saying great things about it. The coffee was excellent.

Saxx for Christmas
The hotel is perfectly located in the square where the Christmas market took place. We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed the breakfast downstairs each morning. Make sure when you go to book here - even if your reservation says "courtside view" call ahead to asure you get a view of the square. We were pretty bummed out that we go stuck in the corner room with no view on Christmas day, but for the actual hotel location you can't beat it so just get out of the room.
