It’s an older hotel in a cool river town. Very nice staff close to downtown. Clean and comfortable

10/10 Exceptional

The room looked and smelled clean, the staff was awesome and even met the owner and he was the greatest as well. One of the rooms has a hot tub it would've been cool to use but the air conditioning was great ran cold very cold. I would most definitely have to stay again especially for the price it's cheap and good sized and it's also very close to a grocery store so it makes it convenient

This hotel was conveniently located to our plans. The staff is friendly. The hotel itself is run down. We got moved our first day due to the shower being broken. Our first room, the pillows were filthy. (We did not use them, we had ran out and bought pillows.) When we got moved, the room was much cleaner and the pillows were nicer. I am not sure why they didn’t put us in that room in the beginner. I never saw a pool at the hotel and there definitely was not a spa. We didn’t see any bugs, so that was a plus!

2/10 Poor

There were people sleeping in their cars in the parking lot. Later locals told us this is the place to get a room if you only want it for a hour. They didn’t have our room which we were thankful for. We stayed somewhere else.

Decent economy motel. Clean, less than usual breakfast of cereal and lukewarm coffee. Room decent and reasonably quiet.

2/10 Poor

Extremely rundown and dirty. When I first arrived they said I didn’t have reservations and that they had no rooms available and tried turning me away. After showing my confirmation on my phone, they somehow found an available room. The blankets were stained and looked dirty. Pillows looked okay. Surfaces were gross and looked like they hadn’t been wiped down in a while. Bathroom was the worst part. There was a a large chunk of the ceiling missing. Looked like maybe water damage from the room above and there was mold on that area of the ceiling. I would not recommend this room to anyone.

The outside of the place was downtrodden. Walkways were cracked and crumbly. Light came on through the top of the door to the room. Worst part were the flies in the room I went to the office to get a fly swatter. The staff said they didn’t have one. I asked what they would do about it. Their expression was “ deal with it”. I rolled up a magazine and killed five of the flies. Couldn’t get the others. They would land on your face. The amenities were alright but the drawers had a lot of hair in them and floors turned my white socks black on the bottoms. On the positive side the water was hot and the bed was nice. An old medium-sized refrigerator with a freezer compartment was useful.

2/10 Poor

This inn used to be the Econolodge in Zanesville. We were traveling and had booked a stay for one night on the way to our destination. The non-smoking room had a faint smell of cigarettes, the top sheet had burn holes and stains, the springs in the bed squeaked with the slightest movement, and the shower drain was clogged. When I went to drop off our keys for check-out, a guest was being arrested near the office. The photos on the listing were not accurate and I would not recommend staying here.
